I aim to offer a respectful, confidential environment, working to create a relationship where you can feel heard, accepted as you are and understood enough to support you through your experience/ exploration at a pace guided by you, discovering more about yourself and your situation in the process.

I offer a short exploratory first session where you can discuss whatever concerns you have, before deciding about further sessions.

Counselling sessions last 50 minutes and are usually at the same day and time each week.

Regular attendance for counselling is an important part of our commitment to the counselling process.

I am a trained Counsellor, have supervision and support for my practice. I am a member of BACP (British Association for Counsellors and Psychotherapists) and Person Centred Therapy Scotland (PCT) and work to the Code of Ethics and Practice of both.

Counselling gives help and support to:

  1. Explore your situation in confidence.

  2. Develop more understanding of your difficulties.

  3. Recognise and decide on choices you may have.
